We’re ready to celebrate.

Whether it’s at the newly renovated Mulehouse theater or on someone’s porch down in Mount Pleasant, Maury County likes to have fun. Every week, you’ll find concerts and events happening close to home, while Music City itself is only a short drive away. We’re also home to local breweries, beautiful wineries and an ever-growing list of one-of-a-kind restaurants.

From front porch to packed house: Live music in Maury County

Want a glimpse of where the music scene of Maury County is headed? Look no further than The Mulehouse, a world-class concert venue right in downtown Columbia. Originally home to the First Baptist Church of Columbia, the building was restored into a beautiful space with state-of-the-art sound systems, a full-service bar and plans for a restaurant. The Mulehouse is a bit like an even more intimate version of Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium.

Even when there’s not an out-of-town act at The Mulehouse, you’ll have no issue finding great tunes nearby. Puckett’s on the Columbia square hosts performers nearly every night of the week, Spring Hill’s Pickin’ in the Park series offers residents a rotation of live music. Another series, Music on the Porch in Mount Pleasant, sees historic homes turned into concert venues.

Breweries, wineries & more

Columbia is home to two breweries: Asgard, located in a scenic spot right along the Duck River with ample outdoor seating, and Bad Idea Brewing, one of the anchors of the Columbia Arts Building. Also in Columbia, Taps off Main offers a wide variety of craft beers from around the world right in the city’s historic downtown.

In Mount Pleasant, Twisted Copper is a recent—and already beloved—addition to the city’s thriving main street known for its friendly atmosphere and community events.

In rural Maury County, the unsuspecting village of Hampshire is home to three vineyards. Amber Falls, Keg Springs and Natchez Hills wineries together offer some of the region’s best wine in Middle Tennessee’s beautiful rolling hills.
